Bhalla conducts door-to-door campaign, seeks vote for Congress

JAMMU, Dec 12: Minister for Housing, Culture and Horticulture and Congress candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency Raman Bhalla conducted door-to-door campaign in various areas of the constituency and urged the people to vote in his favour for another stint so that the development of the constituency could be taken to new heights.
He said that Congress party is committed to create atmosphere of brotherhood, peace and prosperity in the three regions of the State, adding that the Congress party in Jammu and Kashmir has a progressive agenda for all three regions of the State–Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and the party is contesting the Assembly election on development plank.
Minister stated this while conducting door-to-door campaign in Rampura, Satwari, Ashok Nagar, Nai Basti areas of Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Later, Minister also addressed series of public meeting in Digiana, Preet Nagar, Belicharana, Gangyal, Upper Gadi Garh and Bhour Kullian areas and sought vote for Congress party in the Assembly elections.
Mr Bhalla said that the party would notch up its highest-ever tally of seats in the Assembly polls because the party worked for the people beyond limitations.
“Apart from creating unimaginable infrastructural facilities, all over the State, Congress-led-Government resolved the long pending demands of people by creating new districts in the State. The days of development which took place with respect to growth and development will be remembered as golden period, especially by public of the whole Gandhi Nagar constituency”, he added.
He said that the basic issues and needs of the people including educational infrastructure, power and water infrastructure, road connectivity, health and sports infrastructure in every area of Gandhi Nagar constituency witnessed large scale changes, which the people can judge of their own.
Mr Bhalla said it is the contribution of the Congress to create an urge and awakening about the concept of development which has compelled other parties to include development in their agenda.
“However, none of them have any proven credentials and a track record, as they have been getting votes merely by exploiting the people of the State on the basis of religion, region and hollow slogans”, the Congress candidate said.
