JAMMU, June 28: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla today expressed concern over the power cuts and other public problems in Jammu.
While listening to grievances of the people at Bahu Fort and Nanak Nagar areas, Bhalla alleged that J&K administration has failed to provide basic amenities to the people.
He said, rural areas of Jammu are receiving erratic power supply which is making the lives of people there miserable.
The Congress leader took the Government to task for its alleged failure to provide even basic commodities in rural, unconnected and remote areas.
Bhalla said that Congress party is deeply concerned over the situation in J&K which according to him is moving to total chaos.
He claimed that BJP had made a lot of promises to the people of the country before elections but none of them has been fulfilled as of now.
The Congress leader claimed that many sections of the society are facing difficulties and the Centre should take effective measures to improve the current situation.
Bhalla further said that authorities are not paying any attention towards the burning problems of common man which include development, employment opportunities, better infrastructure and other basic requirements like adequate water and power supply.
The former Minister accused BJP Government of having failed to address the problems of J&K people and said that the miseries of J&K people have now increased manifolds.
