Bhalla for imparting moral education in schools

JAMMU, Aug 19: Minister for Housing, Horticulture, Culture, Youth Services and Sports Raman Bhalla today asked teaching fraternity to impart quality and moral education to the students, adding that they are the main architects of the society who shape the personality of new generation.
This was stated by the Minister while addressing a gathering of teaching, non-teaching staff members, students and parents at a function held at Government Higher Secondary School, Bhour Camp, here today.
The Minister highlighted the role of the teachers in the life of children and called upon the parents to send their wards to schools to get education to become good citizens of the country.
Mr. Bhalla asked the student community to work for unity and integrity of the country and also appealed the parents to come forward and support their children in this mission so that India become a strong nation. He asked the students to work hard and show their excellence in next year exams also. He said education is vital for better tomorrow and asked students to share their knowledge to improve their intelligence.
Responding to the demand of students and teaching fraternity of the shcool, Mr. Bhalla asked the accompanied Managing Director Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board Ram Pal Sharma to immediately start the renovation, white wash and repair of floor of classes of Government Higher Secondary School, Bhour Camp so that the students do not face any inconvenience. He informed that Government was committed to provide better infrastructural facilities to the students in every nook corner established school.
On the demand of the students, the Minister announced 100 wooden desks for the school.
