Bhalla inaugurates JK Portrait House

JAMMU, Dec 8: Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture Raman Bhalla today asked the unemployed youth to start their own ventures for earning a dignified livelihood, adding that for this purpose Government has launched number of welfare schemes.
The Minister was interacting with the people after inaugurating JK Portrait House at Gandhi Nagar, here today.
Mr. Bhalla asked the unemployed youth of the State to take full benefits of various employment schemes like self-help groups, handicrafts, skill development besides large and small industries which have been tailored to address unemployment problem. He highlighted the role of private sector in boosting industrialization in the State, adding that industrialization is the only solution for solving the challenging unemployment problem.
He lauded the efforts made by the JK Portrait in opening of modern technology laboratory in his home constituency.
Meanwhile, Mr Bhalla visited Shri Data Ranpat Dev Ji Devsathan at Data Talab in Birpur and paid obeisance there. He prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of the State.
People including men, women and children from across the region assembled and took part in holy prayers.
Besides prayers, most of the devotees took holy dip in the nearby pond followed by Prashad.
