Bhalla releases Punjabi devotional song

JAMMU, Aug 17: JKPCC vice president Raman Bhalla today released a Punjabi devotional song (bhajan) on Mata Vaishno Devi, on YouTube.
The lyricist and singer of the Song “Dilan Diyan Tu Jaandi Maa” is Sandeep Rathore and music has been given by Rohit Sidhu. The other team members include Kulbushan Sharma, Satish Rathore, Anmol Sharma and Virender Manhas.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhalla wished all the best to the production team for their great effort. He said Jammu has no dearth of talent and there is need to identify and provide them a forum to bring out their creativity at larger canvass.
Lauding the initiative of youngsters towards promotion of Punjabi, Bhalla exuded confidence that given abundant talent the art and culture of the Punjabi will reach newer heights. He hoped that their production will be received well by the people, which will serve as an encouragement for the artists to work hard and make their mark in the field of art and culture. He said the lyrics, composition and music of the song is enviable.
While launching the Bhajan, Bhalla said that execution of a comprehensive plan to preserve and promote rich cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir is the need of the hour and to realize this dream the Government should rope in distinguished artists and literary personalities to create avenues. He demanded a state of art theatre in Jammu City to satiate the desires of artist fraternity which is the most significant constituent of promoting culture and heritage.
Bhalla said that languages of the region are guardians of the culture and traditions, and therefore to preserve the culture and ethos of J&K concerted efforts are needed.
