Bhalla seeks vote on development plank

JAMMU, Nov 17: Congress in Jammu and Kashmir had a progressive agenda for all three regions of the State and was contesting the election on development plank.
This was stated by Minister for Housing, Culture and Horticulture and Congress candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency Raman Bhalla, while addressing public meetings in Sanjay Nagar, Old Satwari, Trikuta Nagar and Jeevan Nagar area of Digiana in Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
Mr Bhalla said that the party would notch up it’s highest-ever tally of seats across Jammu and Kashmir region in the forthcoming Assembly polls.
“The party has a progressive agenda for all the three regions–Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. It has entered the poll arena on the strength of its enviable developmental record”, he said.
The Congress had vision of a vibrant, progressive and united Jammu and Kashmir, Minister added.
Mr Bhalla asked the people to vote for Congress party in the forthcoming Assembly elections, so that the ongoing developmental works in the State particularly Gandhi Nagar constituency will be taken new heights.
He said that the educational infrastructure, power and water infrastructure, road connectivity, health infrastructure and sports infrastructure in every area falling under Gandhi Nagar constituency to witnessed large scale changes, adding that for all these developmental works, people are the best adjudicator.
Minister assured the people that if his party is voted to power again, a new phase of development will be started in the Gandhi Nagar constituency as the party gives the priority to the prosperity and development of the State.
He added that the Congress party is committed to create atmosphere of brotherhood, peace and prosperity in the three regions of the State especially in the Gandhi Nagar constituency, so as to give befitting reply to the decisive forces, who are trying to befool people on the name of caste, creed and religion.
Some of the prominent persons, who also addressed the meetings, extended full-support to Raman Bhalla and also assured the Minister, that this time also, Congress will emerge winner in the forthcoming elections.
Among others present were Asar Singh, Surinder Singh (Bittu), Ex-Corporator Dwarka Choudhary, Sheela, Vishal, Neeraj Verma and Suman.
