JAMMU, Oct 14: Work for digging of bore-well has been started at Gurudwara Baba Fateh Singh Ji Gandhi Nagar by Bhanu Mahajan, JMC Councillor of Ward no. 21.
Balvinder Singh, vice president; Surjit Singh, secretary DGPC along with others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Balvinder Singh said that Bhanu Mahajan always remained at the forefront to take up the developmental works of the Gurudwara falling in her Ward.
While addressing the people Bhanu Mahajan said that digging of bore-well became possible only with the blessings of divine Gurus.
She was also felicitated by the Gurudwara authorities by a memento.
Surjit Singh appreciated the works done by Bhanu for religious institutions of Sikhs falling in her Ward and for the overall developmental works taken up by her from time to time.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Sukhwinder Singh, Dilbag Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Ravinder Singh, Davinder Singh, J.P Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Tej Kour, Surjit Kour, Gurdev Kour and others.
