JAMMU, Oct 11: Bharat Bhushan Sharma was elected as president of Jammu Chhamb Passenger Bus Service for the term of two years for fifth consecutive term ,the elections for which were held here, today.
In a straight contest Sharma got 137 votes and his opponent Labha Singh got 121 votes only.
The election was held under the chairmanship of T S Wazir , chairman All J&K Transport Welfare Association and Sikander Singh Manhas, chairman Jammu-Chhamb Passenger Bus Service under super vision of Naib tehsildar, Shiv Kumar Gupta and SHO Bus Stand Pankaj Sharma.
