Bharat Darshan Tour concludes

JAMMU, June 12: Bharat Darshan tour by District Police Jammu for 58 male and 7 females concluded today.
The tour was flagged off by ADGP Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh, accompanied by SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli from DPL Jammu which finally concluded today.
During the tour, youth travelled by air to Delhi where they visited places of historical importance like Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Red Fort, Police Museum, Akshardham Temple and Parliament. These visits shall provide an opportunity to explore and understand the unity in diversity of the country along with helping in personality development of the youth.
Since these are the formative years and whatever they see, will have deep impact on them, and it will help to shape them in better human beings
Commissioner of Police Delhi Rakesh Asthana, interacted with the youths during interactive session youth were motivated and guided by dignitaries to achieve higher goals in their life and contribute in every possible way towards nation building and serving our country, following the session lunch was organised by Delhi Police at Delhi Police Hqrs for them.
After Delhi, they were taken to Bangalore where they visited Devanahalli hills, Nandi Hills, Nandi Temple, Lal Baugh, Planeterium and Vishweshriah Industries and Technology Museum.
This tour programme comes under Civic Action Programme (CAP) to enhance police public relation to a greater level of mutual participation and trust. The tour was a 5 day long Bharat Darshan Tour from Jammu to Delhi, Delhi to Bangalore and Bangalore to Jammu.
ADGP Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh flanked by SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli welcomed back the youths after Tour at DPL Jammu and heard their experiences about the tour. Other officers present were SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta (Nodal Officer), SP North Kulbir Handa, SP Operations Naresh Singh, DySP DAR DPL Jammu KD Bhagat and SDPO South Sachit Sharma.
ADGP Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh while interacting with the students told them that it is an opportunity for them to enhance their knowledge and the programme is aimed upon the idea of unity in diversity. Acquiring new experiences, acceptance of diversity exploring diverse cultures are some of the benefits of travelling for youth.
Moreover, youths were also advised to avail such opportunities to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places and marvels of country by exploring about their outstanding history.
