PULWAMA, Feb 9: Organi-zed by 183 Battalion of CRPF for 25 students, Bharat Darshan Tour concluded today.
Started on February 1, the tour was organized by CRPF under Apna Watan Project CAP-2015-16. 25 students under the project along with two teachers (care takers) from Rajpora constituency of Pulwama district were sent on tour to Bhopal, Hyderabad & Delhi.
During the tour students visited Taj-ul-Masajid, Badi jheel, Van Vihar Park and Regional Science Centre in Bhopal. They also met Rama Naresh Yadav, Governor of Madhya Pradesh.
In Hyderabad they visited Char Minar, Golconda Fort and Ramoji Film city while in Delhi they visited India Gate, Parliament House, Qutub Minar, Jamia Masjid, Red Fort and also took ride in Delhi Metro.
On the closing ceremony of the tour, Neeraj Kumar, DC Pulwama, was the chief guest. Vinay Anand Prakash, Comm-andant, 183 Bn CRPF, Tejinder Singh, SP Pulwama and other senior officers of CRPF were also present.
The tour gave the students a glimpse of various cultures, traditions and ethos present in other parts of the Nation. It was a life changing experience for them.
