UDHAMPUR, July 9: A deputation of the village Bharat Nagar, Jakhani, Udhampur led by senior BJP leader and State Election Committee Member, Pawan Gupta, met the Executive Engineers of PDD, PHE and R&B (PWD) in connection with the problems of Bharat Nagar area.
The problems discussed with the Executive Engineer PDD, included low voltage and time and again damage of existing power transformer of 100 KV, which the deputation demanded to be replaced with 250 KV transformer.
With Executive Engineer, PHE, the deputation took up the issue of scarcity of drinking water in Bharat Nagar area and sought replacement of present main supply pipe line of two and half inch with four inch pipe while with Executive Engineer, R&B (PWD), it took up the issue of blacktopping of link road to Bharat Nagar from National Highway and installation of Flood lights in the area.
All the concerned officers assured Pawan Gupta for appropriate and required action after getting ground reality from concerned subordinates.
Sarpanch Jeevan Sharma, Rohit Sethi, Parshotam Singh, Raj Ali, Uttam Chand, Ramesh Kumar, Puneet Sharma, Puran Dutt, Sat Pal, Rattan Chand, Harjeet Singh and Preetam Kumar were also part of the deputation.
