JAMMU, July 10: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Bharatgas LPG and Retail (Petrol Pump) business units of Jammu, in association with Jammu Municipal Corporation organised ‘Prabhat Pheri’ to ensure widespread awareness against plastic usage and for adoption of paper and jute bags.
Mayor JMC, Chander Mohan Gupta and Chairman Swach Bharat Jammu, Hardeep Singh Mankotia; Raj Kumar, Chairman of Public Health & Sanitation Committee JMC; Dinesh Gupta, Councilor; Yashpaul Sharma, Councilor; Sahil Sharma along with Sandeep Kumar Raina, TM LPG and Eshu Kumar, TM Retail, Sanjeev Dhokia TC Retail addressed the gathering of Distributors and Dealer staff of various agencies at Bharat Petroleum Jammu office..
On the occasion, jute bags were distributed among the agency delivery boys and DSMs and Swachhata Pledge was taken to raise awareness on this important issue.
Thereafter, ‘Prabhat Pheri Rally’ was flagged off to raise awareness on giving up plastic usage and adopt paper /jute bags with slogans of ‘Say No to Plastic Bags, Say Yes to Paper/Jute Bags’, ‘Clean Jammu Green Jammu’.
Varun Sharma, Manager Sales LPG and Manager Sales Retail Dushyant Sharma coordinated the event. LPG Distributors and staff from M/s Tawi Gas, M/s Shiva Bharat Gas, M/s Om Sai Bharat Gas, M/s Manhas Bharatgas and DSMs from Muktanand Auto, Amar Fstn, HS Surinder, Teja, Shahji, Trikuta Fstn, Shankar Sstn, Fairdeal, BMC, JKSTRC, TRB Fuels were present on in the programme.
