JAMMU, Mar 11: Senior Congress leader from J&K, Bharat Priye has been appointed as National Joint Coordinator of All India Kisan Congress (AIKC).
A handout stated that Priye has been holding the charge of this post for a long time and he belongs to a farmer family of Pargwal area in Akhnoor.
After completing his education, he joined Congress and was at the forefront in raising the problems of border farmers and always was ready to help farmers affected by crop failure due to unseasonal rains or farmers affected by shelling on the border.
Expressing his gratitude to the Congress high command on this new responsibility, Bharat Priye said that he will work with honesty to fulfill the responsibility assigned to him by the party and will continue to raise the voice of farmers with more passion.
