Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch condemns Chinese Govt

JAMMU, Feb 25: Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Unit, has strongly condemned the recent cruel act on Tibetan Buddhist monks in Tibet by the Chinese Government.
The Buddhist monks were purportedly protesting against the construction of a mega dam in Tibet province on the Yangtze River by dislocating the Tibetan community. Due to constructing of mega dam in Tibetan province, six ancient monasteries and dozens of villages will get completely submerged under the dam.
More than 100 Buddhist monks have been put in jail and many more were injured during the Chinese Government action. They have used chilly spray and water guns to control the protesters.
Dr Vivek, the president of BTSM Jammu and Kashmir Unit, has strongly condemned this incident and said that the Chinese Government always comes to cruel action with the Tibetan community.
Dr Chhering Tandup, Present, BTSM Ladakh unit, has mentioned that the Chinese Government always has a motive to destroy the culture and environment of Tibet province and it is part of the same agenda.
