JAMMU, Apr 11: BJP MLC, Ajay Bharti today released the two newly mutant hybrid of Gladiolus Gvuarvi and April Pride Bred developed by Dr Manoj Nazir, Scientist Floriculture who is also a well known figure in the field of plant breeding and genetics.
Guvari Gladiolus was bred in the loving memory of a pious lady of Chandpora Harwan by exposing corms of prink friendship to fast neutrons and gamma irradiations.
The paper in the making of Gvuari was read by Rakesh Bhat and significance of word Gvuari was narrated by professor of literature J L Seeru. He paid glowing tributes Gvuri.
Prof Seeru complimented Ajay Bharti for his contribution in upliftment of unemployed youth and Dr Manoj Nazir for breeding beauty of truth for the State and nation as a whole.
Ajay Bharti dedicated Gvuri by cutting the first bloom of newly developed hybrid.
Earlier Bharti along with galaxy of intellectuals visited unemployed youth gladiolus field and released April Pride a mutant hybrid developed by Dr Nazir. He encouraged youth to take up Gladiolus cultivation for its profitability.
Dr Nazir revealed in the making of Guvari and April Pride to the galaxy of intellectuals and unemployed youth and assured them that cultivar Sarla: Guvari and April Pride will help the farmers and unemployed youth in boosting their economy.
