Bhavnagar mishap: Another from Latti succumbs to injuries

JAMMU, Feb 18: As another victim from Latti area in Udhampur district succumbed to his injuries, death toll in the yesterday’s tragic incident at Bhavnagar in Gujarat State has reached three.
Reports said that one of the victims, identified as Ankit (20), son of Subash Chander of Latti, succumbed to his injuries today at a hospital in Gujarat.
Ankit and four others from Latti area in Udhampur among 11 labourers were injured while two others (one from Latti) died when a lift collapsed in Bhavnagar area of Gujarat State, yesterday.
The victims were loading grocery items when the lift collapsed resulting into on the spot death of two persons, including one Jagdev Singh, son of Hem Raj, resident of Majua-Pattan in Tehsil Latti of Udhampur district. The other deceased was reported to be a local of Gujarat.
Sarpanch of Latti, Kasturi Lal Gupta told the Excelsior that Ankit Kumar, one of the injured in yesterday’s mishap, succumbed to his injuries in hospital today.
