Bhawan police nabs 2 thieves

JAMMU, June 9: Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan police today arrested two thieves, who had stolen cash and two mobile telephones from the bag of a pilgrim of Faridabad in Haryana.
The thieves have been identified as Sanjay Sahu son of Nandu Lal, a resident of Madhya Pradesh and Deepak Kumar son of Sunder Lal of Uttar Pradesh.
Police acted after receiving information from a pilgrim Gaya son of Rajinder Kumar of Faridabad that his Rs 4200 cash and two mobile telephones have been stolen from the bag at the Bhawan.
Police nabbed the thieves from the new track and recovered stolen cash of Rs 4200 as well as mobile telephones, which were returned to the pilgrim.
A case against the thieves has been registered at Bhawan police station.
Arrests were made by a Bhawan police station party led by SHO Jeet Singh under the supervision of DySP Bhawan Satpal Modi, Additional SP Katra Naresh Singh and SSP Reasi Nisha Nathyal.
