BHADERWAH, Jan 19: The protest by Bhaderwah Hospital Bahcao Front (BHBF) entered 128 day here today.
Amid slogans the activists of the front and the people took out a protest match. They were demanding restoration of the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) to its old location as by shifting of the hospital to new building the people are facing manifold problems.
They added that the hospital is located far away and the people had to walk a long to reach the hospital. They said that the new building is incomplete in many respects vis-à-vis less strength of doctors, equipments, etc.
They alleged that the Government is trying to run two hospitals at same time, which is not possible as strength of doctors is very low due to which the people are facing problems.
While speaking, Ranbir Singh, convener of the front urged the Union Health Minister to redress the issues at the earliest.
He added that the front will go on with its struggle till their demands are not redressed.
Among others who spoke were Badri Nath, Iqbal Malik, Shahbhan Butt, Hafiz Wani, Anayatullah Sheikh, Abdul Haq Zargar, Sher Singh Parihar, Abdul Qayoom, etc.
