SRINAGAR, Nov 27: Former Legislator and NPP chief patron Prof Bhim Singh has demanded immediate dismissal of PDP-BJP Government in the State.
Addressing a press conference here today, Prof Singh, demanded that fresh polls should be held without any delay as present PDP-BJP Government has been reduced to a skeleton and there is no governance in the State.
Bhim Singh who was here to participated in State convention held at Tangdhar bordering PoK described the condition of the residents of Tangdhar as grave because of the non-governance, bad weather and cut off situation since 1947. He said his party Panthers Party demands Scheduled Tribe Status for the entire population of Tangdhar and creating State Assembly of this cut off region.
Bhim Singh also described the local Sikh community in Tangdhar who have been surviving in the areas since 1947 as a neglected lot. They have neglected both by the Centre and the State Governments. He congratulated the local Sikh community for their heroic role and for spreading a brotherly atmosphere in the area.
NPP leader said that withdrawing some cases against the students and minor children in the Valley is not enough, he pointed out, that the cases against Panthers Party activists which are pending in Reasi, Katra, Jammu, Poonch and Kishtwar etc. since 2005, 2006 and 2007 should also be withdrawn. These NPP activist were implicated in false cases.
Singh said that violence in the Valley shall come to an end when fundamental rights provided in the Constitution of India in Chapter-III (Article 11 to 35) shall be extended to every resident of the State of J&K. He declared that the Panthers Party shall be holding a State convention in Kashmir valley in December. All parties both social and political including Hurriyat Conference shall be invited to work out a joint plan to ensure that fundamental rights are extended to all the residents of J&K.
NPP leader accused the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for repeating the same blunders which have been displayed by the earlier Governments. He described the dispatching of 5th Interlocutor to Kashmir as a total fraud and a display of the same old conspiracy against the people of J&K.
