POONCH, Dec 23: On the mission for equality and justice for all residents of J&K with provision of all fundamental rights to all citizens of India residing in J&K, National Panthers Party leader Prof Bhim Singh carried his awareness campaign in Poonch- Rajouri districts today.
While speaking at workers meeting of Panthers Party in Surankote and Poonch today Prof Bhim Singh regretted that the people of Poonch-Mendhar-Rajouri which formed part of Poonch State under the Maharaja have not been treated fairly or with dignity.
Prof Singh said that he is leading a Panthers caravan from Jammu to Poonch in its first part with a clear message that India is one from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Manipur to Dwarika with one flag, one constitution to ensure fundamental rights to all Indian citizens residing in J&K.
NPP leader said that this mission in its second part shall move to Doda and Kashmir. He said that in 2017 this movement of one India with one flag and one Constitution shall move from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to seek support of all the political parties, social organizations and the civil society in this regard.
Bhim Singh said that J&K problem is because J&K have not been integrated with the Union of India which is evident from the fact that J&K has separate Constitution and separate State flag.
Several Panthers Party leaders addressed the meeting. They included Anita Thakur general secretary, Ashfaq Rana Poonch district president, Salim Sheikh Distt general secretary , Anupam Kumari general secretary Poonch, Tariq Mohammad vice president- Distt unit Poonch.
