Bhim Singh releases party manifesto

JAMMU, Nov 22: A manifesto for Panchayat Legislative Council elections-2012 was released by Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of J&K National Panthers Party here this afternoon.
Talking to media persons Prof Singh said that in Legislative Council elections of Panchayat Constituencies, National Panthers Party stands for building Panchayat Ghar with special library, special free dispensary and literacy center for every person in the Panchayat.
He said his party has a commitment to provide legitimate powers to the Panchayats to make them deliver local and social justice, implement all the State and Central schemes for the development of the respective Panchayats. The empowerment of the Panchayat is NPP’s goal and commitment. The party shall not allow the Government to bungle with the democratic and basic rights of the people living in the rural areas under Panchayat system.  It has a commitment that all office bearers including block chairmen, district chairmen and other functionaries shall be elected by the members of the Panchayats. There shall be no nomination of Chairman or members at any stage.
The funds coming from the Central scheme for the development of the Panchayats shall be monitored by the Panchayats. The party has a commitment that every member of the Panchayat shall be given remuneration for his official work and duty.
Panchayat Adalat shall be established at the earliest so that the local problems shall be settled amicably by the Panchayats.  NPP has assured the respected members of the Panchayats and the Sarpanch that the party shall provide all those facilities and amenities to the respected Sarpanchs and Panchs which are available in other parts of the country.
He said Panthers party has a commitment that every orphaned child, handicapped person particularly a girl child shall be provided social security from the Central schemes so that Panchayat shall be converted into a Center of peace, security and human dignity.
