JAMMU, Mar 23: Jaya Mala, wife of Prof Bhim Singh and founder member of Panthers Party has come out openly in favour of Harsh Dev Singh and pledged all out support to the former NPP Minister.
In a hurriedly called press conference, here today, Jaya Mala described Harsh Dev as the true champion of the people and the lone crusader fighting against the present day dictatorial regime.

“I have seen his relentless fight for the cause of common masses during the past 7-8 years and feel deeply inspired by his indefatigable spirit and indomitable will to corner the Govt over varied issues. There is not a single issue of public importance which has been left untouched by him. Even during corona times I saw him protesting on roads pursuing the cause of poor labour force when all other leaders had preferred to remain cocooned in their sanitized environment,” she said and recalled Harsh Dev Singh’s remarkable contributions for the cause of education during his short stint as Education Minister in J&K.
Alleging a deep rooted conspiracy behind the vilification campaign launched by certain vested interests against Harsh Dev, Jaya Mala urged upon the people not to be swayed by such false propaganda. She appealed to the NPP workers and public in general to strengthen the hands of Harsh Dev in the ultimate interests of the common masses of the UT.
She said that Harsh Dev was the only hope for the youth, the farmers, the traders, the labour force and the general masses and deserved to be supported by one and all.
Pertinent to mention that Prof Bhim Singh has purportedly written to SSP Jammu alleging that he was threatened by Harsh Dev Singh while a video has also surfaced in social media wherein the latter is seen complaining against the former in agitated manner.
