“This movie is about daughter and father relationship. And, I feel it has more connect than anything else.I think for a father– his daughter is far closer.
There’s always a stronger bond between the two,” the ‘Vaastav’ actor said. On how he got along with the onscreen daughter Aditi, Sanjay said,”She is a very good actor and we got along very well.
During the course of shooting, we had to bond well together to get those emotions right. It was great.” Asked why he chose this film for his comeback, Sanjay said it had a fantastic script with commercial value.
“The script is fantastic. It is a movie about relationships, values and above all it is a commercial film. It has good music and lots of action.
I think the whole package was good enough for me to go for it,” the 58-year-old actor said. Talking about the changes in the Bollywood industry, Sanjay said,”The industry has become more professional, which is good.
Now there is a time limit to make movies, and people try to make films within a budget. I am happy that actors are doing one movie at a time, which helps them concentrate. I think it all changed for the better while I was away.” Directed by Omung Kumar, “Bhoomi” is Sanjay Dutt’s first film post his release from prison last year.
The film is a revenge drama which revolves around a father-daughter relationship. The flick will hit the theaters on September 22. (AGENCIES)
