KISHTWAR, May 22: A lady was killed here today after she was hit by a bike while the biker also received some injuries and was undergoing treatment at District Hospital Kishtwar.
As per police the bike bearing registration number JK17-9611 was driven by Jeeman Raja, son of Jaswant Singh, resident of Gwari, Dool and it hit Shaheena Begum, wife of Lt. Aziz Mohd, resident of Dool in Dool area today when she was walking on the road.
She along with the biker were injured and were rushed to District Hospital Kishtwar where the lady succumbed to her injuries.
After autopsy and legal formalities the body was handed over to family members.
Kishtwar police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
