JAMMU, July 21: Jhajjar Kotli Police arrested a bike lifer and recovered stolen motorcycle from his possession.
As per police sources, a person from Udhampur District lodged a complaint with Police Station Jhajjar Kotli stating that his motorcycle which was parked outside Jhajjar Kotli park has been stolen.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant sections was registered at Jhajjar Kotli Police Station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, during checking at Suketar, a team from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station recovered the stolen motorcycle from the possession of bike lifter identified as Saleem Mohammad, son of Sherif Mohammad of Urlani Dansal and arrested him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Rajesh Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma and SP Rural Suram Singh.
