JAMMU, Sept 29: To express their support for their candidate Thakur Manmohan Singh, a bike rally organized by the supporters was taken out, here today.
The rally started from Pounichak and passing through Gole Camp, Poonch House, Talab Tillo, RRL Laboratory, Jewel, Reshamghar, Maheshpura, Rehari, Subash Nagar, Toph finally culminated at Afsar Palace in Shakti Nagar.
The rally saw hundreds of cars and bikes participating, with over 3000 people attending and extending their support to Thakur Manmohan Singh.
Addressing on the occasion, Thakur Manmohan Singh said that this rally is an important step for the people of Jammu West.
“We are aware of the many problems facing the region, including unemployment, water and electricity crisis. We are committed to address the issues of Statehood and other burning issues. We know that the people of the region are facing these issues and we will work towards resolving them,” he said.
