SAMBA, Apr 30: Two bike riders struck in Ramgarh area and snatched a gold `Manglasutra’ of a middle aged woman when she was waiting for a bus on the road side along with another woman at Trindian village this afternoon.
Reports said the mishap took place when Santosh Kumari, wife of Hardev Kumar of Trindian village was standing on the roadside to board a bus for Vijaypur at around 2.30 pm today. Another woman was standing with her and both were busy in talking. Suddenly, two youth riding on a motor-cycle and covering their faces with handkerchief appeared and the pillion rider snatched the gold chain ( Mangalsutra) of Santosh. She raised alarm but the boys sped away. Later, the matter was reported to Ramgarh police which has registered a case in this connection.
