UDHAMPUR, May 14: A motorcyclist died while the pillion rider sustained serious injuries, after their bike was hit by an unidentified truck near Darsoo Nallah Roun Domail in Udhampur, here today.
The deceased was identified as Rohit Sharma (23), S/o Mohan Lal, R/o Pardhi Majalta and Pillion rider injured namely Sajan Singh (25), S/o Sandal Singh, R/o Darmash Nagar, Sangal Basti, Taran Taran, Punjab.
According to the police report, the motorcycle bearing Registration number JK14H-6270, hit by an unidentified truck.
Police shifted the victims to District Hospital Udhampur, where doctors declared Rohit Sharma as brought dead, while the injured pillion rider was referred to the GMC Hospital, Jammu.
The Police has registered the case and started investigation.
