Biker loses both legs in collision with Army truck

POONCH, Sept 18: A bike rider has lost his both the legs in collision with an Army truck in Surankote area of district Poonch today.
Reports said that 26-year-old Zaheer Ahmed, son of Manzoor Ahmed, resident of Nabna met with serious accident when he was coming from Sheen Darra village in Surankote to Poonch. Near Madana his motor-cycle bearing registration No. JK02BC/2049 was hit by an Army truck (16 RR). The victim’s both the legs were badly fractured and he also sustained multiple injuries all over his body.
The Police party from Surankote rushed to the spot and shifted the injured youth to District Hospital Poonch, The doctors provided preliminary treatment and then referred him to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The police has registered a case FIR No. 225/ 2019 in this connection and took the driver into custody.
