KATHUA, Apr 26: Billawar Police has recovered a minor girl from Bandala, Amritsar in Punjab who was kidnapped by a youth of the area.
Police said one Saif-u- Din of Kough Billawar reported at Police Station, Billawar about kidnapping of his minor daughter. Police instantly lodged FIR No 130 U/S 363,109 RPC at PS Billawar and immediately started search to trace out the kidnapped girl.
Initially, police team succeeded in arresting the father of the main accused namely Fakir Din S/o Gutub Din and his brother namely Vicky but the accused absconded along with the minor girl.
During the course of investigation, SHO PS Billawar Inspector Amit Sangra constituted different teams of Police Station Billawar who raided at different locations not only within the State but outside as well.
After strenuous efforts and continuous search, Billawar Police team succeeded in recovering the kidnapped minor girl from Bandala, Amritsar Punjab and also arrested the main accused Mohd Sadik.
After completing all the legal formalities, the minor girl was handed over to her family.
