JAMMU, Aug 1: Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria, dedicated the newly constructed road at Belicharana in Bahu constituency to public today.
The road was constructed by the Public Works Department (PWD). The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including local Government officials, community leaders, and residents of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that the road initiated by the PWD, has been completed with utmost dedication and adherence to quality standards. The construction work involved the utilization of the latest techniques and materials to ensure the longevity and durability of the road. The newly constructed road showcases the commitment of the PWD to provide state-of-the-art infrastructure that caters to the evolving needs of the community.
Deputy Mayor emphasized the importance of well-connected and well-maintained roads in fostering economic growth and facilitating smooth transportation. He further appreciated the authorities of PWD for their relentless efforts in executing the project within the stipulated time frame. Billawaria also said that people now directly come to him with their problems and on spot solutions to them are found so that they don’t have to go anywhere for their genuine problems related with the development.
He said the road at Belicharana, is a significant development for the area. It is expected to significantly reduce travel time, enhance connectivity to neighboring areas, and uplift the overall socio-economic status of the local community.
Billawaria said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is working on the agenda of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Ka Prayas” and to develop every corner is party’s responsibility.
He said the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is committed to developing every corner of J&K without differentiating any caste or creed. He said many mega projects have been kick started for the development of the area. The local leaders and the general public of the area said that the successful completion of the road project at Belicharana is a testament to the commitment under the leadership of Billawaria.
