Billawaria inaugurates development works

JAMMU, Jan 1: Continuing to provide better development as well as basic amenities to the people of Jammu, former Deputy Mayor and BJP senior leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria today dedicated the development works at Sector-3, Ward Number 56, Gangyal in RS Pura-Jammu South constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, former Deputy Mayor Jammu and BJP senior leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that developmental works will continue in Gangyal for the betterment of the people. He said that this development work was completed ahead of schedule and it was a long pending demand of the local people and now this demand has been fulfilled.
Billawaria said that with the construction of this lane there will be relief from the problem of water logging in the rainy season. He said that they have got a lot of development work done in Ward Number 56, due to which it has emerged as a model Ward.
He said that during his tenure as Deputy Mayor of Jammu, he had got these development works to fulfill the demands of the people and today the same development works are being started. “I am happy that I am getting the privilege to kick start the development works that I had planned”, he added. He said that in the last five year crores of rupees have been spent on development works to change the face of the Ward.
He said some of the major projects completed in the Ward in the five year included construction of new roads, installation of street lights, provision of better waste management services, setting up of community halls and children’s play parks.
He assured the people of the Ward that whatever other problems have remained, they will also be solved on priority. He said that the developmental works would be continued with the cooperation of the residents of the Ward. He said that the Modi Government is committed to provide the best possible services to the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.
Mandal president, Ranjit Singh, Rakesh Sangral, Rajinder Singh (Poppi), Jugal Kishore, Ashwani Gupta, Sunil Sharma and others were present on the occasion.
