JAMMU, Apr 9: Coping up with the long pending demand of inhabitants of Ward 73, BJP senior leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria inaugurated newly installed transformer at Roohi Morh Gadi Garh Ward 73 of the Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
The local people of the area were also present on the occasion who complimented him for taking pains in getting the problem solved. The transformer installed in the area is of 250KVA capacity and will cater to the needs of inhabitants of the area. The total cost incurred on this is about 8 lakh rupees and with its installation the people will get relief from scorching heat of Summer. The PDD, besides installing transformer has erected pipe poles, laid wiring, and provided other accessories.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that it was indeed a long pending demand of the locals and the same has been met so that a major relief could be provided to the inhabitants in the area from scorching heat of Summer as earlier the transformer installed was of low capacity and it caused major disruption including low voltage and frequent power cuts. He stated that this won’t be a problem anymore as the transformer installed now is of high capacity and will run smoothly without any disruption.
He said that under the guidance of Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India is determined to achieve new heights of progress, peace and prosperity for country and the dream of “Naya Hindustan” and corruption free India will become true. He said BJP is committed to work for masses and believes in the agenda of “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas”.
He also lauded the efforts of PDD for looking into the problems of people on priority and said that other wards in Gandhi Nagar constituency where power problem persists are also kept on priority and with the help of Department their problems will also be solved.
Mandal president, Bharat Bhushan, Ward 73 incharge, BJP Mohit Raina, Hardev Singh, Mandeep Chaudhary, Raju Sharma and Lucky Manhas were present at the occasion.
