JAMMU, Mar 15: Providing best possible infra to the inhabitants of Gandhi Nagar constituency at their doorsteps, BJP senior leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started black topping at Gangyal area of Ward 56.
The works are being constructed under the supervision of PWD and an estimated cost of Rupees 11 lakh will be spent on it. The works will cover the main road and internal lanes of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that construction of road was a long pending demand of the residents of the area and that demand has been fulfilled. Billawaria highlighted the major works taken up in the constituency in the past years. He said that other areas of Gandhi Nagar constituency are also kept on priority and wherever necessary, the development works are taken up on priority so that people do not face any problem regarding infrastructure in their areas.
He said that Gandhi Nagar constituency is moving towards achieving the status of a Model constituency. He mentioned that more projects are in the pipeline and will be executed in a time bound manner. He said that development is the mantra of the Modi Government and we are committed to get every development done in Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Billawaria further said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is working to make the lives of people easier and every effort will be made to make people’s lives easy, comfortable and civilized. He said that no Government has done so much development work till date, as has been done by the Modi Government. The people in general and social workers complimented Billawaria for getting the development done in the area.
Ranjeet Singh, Madan Lal, Bachan Lal, Gurmukh Singh, Balwant Singh, Sat Pal and Prithpal Singh were also present on the occasion.
