JAMMU, Oct 31: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria accompanied by Corporator Jyoti Devi, Jaideep Sharma, Nidhi Magotra kick started the work of Auto Stand shed at Ward 53, Main Market Trikuta Nagar in Bahu constituency.
This construction work was done under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at a cost of about Rs 8.5 lakh. Earlier arrival in Ward 53 Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria was warmly welcomed by Jyoti Devi Corporator JMC at her Ward. Speaking on the occasion Deputy Mayor, said that JMC is committed to develop all the areas of the city of temples. He said that JMC follows the footsteps of Prime Minister, Narendra Bhai Modi is carrying the policy of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas, aur Sabka Prayas.
Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria also said that under the stewardship of Narendra Bhai Modi, the Indian prestige intervention arena has considerably been enhanced and people view the country as the most developing country. He said that JMC will never lag behind in developmental works.
While leading the mass movement for cleanliness, the Deputy Mayor exhorted people to fulfil Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a clean and hygienic India. Baldev Singh Billawaria initiated the cleanliness drive in Ward Number 53. Picking up the broom to clean the dirt, making Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a mass movement across the City of Temples, he said people should neither litter, nor let others to litter. He gave the mantra of ‘Na Gandagi Karenge, Na Karne Denge.’
Corporator Ward Number 53 Jyoti Devi complimented Deputy Mayor for visiting her Ward and said that he is always ready to provide support to his workers. She said that there was an old demand of the area which has been fulfilled now and people will get a lot of relief from this development work. She said that development work is going on in Ward 53 and soon all the development work of the area will be constructed in a phased manner.
