JAMMU, June 16: Continuing to provide better development as well as basic amenities to the people of Jammu, Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria, kick started the work of laying of paver tiles and construction of drains at Ward Number 56 Ekta Vihar in Jammu South-RS Pura constituency.
This work will be executed under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC). Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that since the time the BJP party-led Municipal Corporation took over the reins, development works have been flowing. Deputy Mayor said that under the stewardship of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi India has been now enlisted into the developing nations and tremendous development has been observed in all the sectors and segments of Jammu city. The Deputy Mayor said that it was the long pending demands of the locals as the drains in the area were in dilapidated condition for a long time and the residents were facing a lot of problems while moving through these lanes.
He said that as a representative of the people, every promise made to the people is being fulfilled and the smallest street in the area is being constructed.
Deputy Mayor said that development is the priority of BJP and the party is for all round development, in every region, so that the last man in the last queue is benefitted. The Deputy Mayor Jammu said that many significant development works had been done in Ekta Vihar area in the past and many more significant works will be undertaken in future also. “We will touch every area for development so that people realize at the ground level what is the real definition of development”. The people can realize the difference as they can see the development which they did not see during the tenure of the previous governments. The Deputy Mayor was highly appreciated by the people for his sincerity and commitment towards the development of their area. Mandal president Ranjit Singh, Harbans Chaudhary, Jugal Kishore, and others were present.
