JAMMU, Oct 18: Chairman Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria along with Councilor, Ajay Gupta kick started construction of lane and drain work in Ward Number 52, Preet Nagar in Gandhi Nagar constituency today.
Billawaria, while speaking on the occasion said that the BJP Government led by Narenddra Modi has given a new direction to the country. He said that the main objective of the BJP is to ensure the development works in every region equally with complete sincerity and the BJP Government has worked on the basic principle of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’. He said that ever since the BJP took over the reigns of Municipal Corporation the development of the Jammu got a pace.
The main goal of the Municipal Corporation is that all the wards under Jammu city will be made modern wards. The Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) is working at every level to provide all kinds of basic facilities to the people even during the corona pandemic. He said that the way Councilor, Ajay Gupta is doing the development related work for the people of ward is a commendable work. Councilor Ajay Gupta complimented Chairman Billawaria in his ward and said that he has solved the developmental problems of the people. Continuous development work is going on in Ward Number 52 and soon all the development work of the area will also be constructed in a phased manner.
Later a meeting was organized at Gangyal Park under the chairmanship of Chairman Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and councilor Ward number 56, Baldev Singh Billawaria in which local and dignitaries from the area were also present. The Gangyal Morning Walker Association was formed in this meeting in which Rajiv Sharma was appointed the president of the Walkers Association, Balwan Singh the general secretary and Abhinandan Sharma as treasurer. Billawaria congratulated the newly appointed Walker Association office bearers and members. He said that the work of the Government is to give people by constructing parks, community halls etc. while the local people have to maintain these works. This Association has been formed with this objective so that the public property of the area can be protected.
