JAMMU, July 6: Former Deputy Mayor, Jammu and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the development work of lane and drain at Sector-6 Gangyal in RS Pura-Jammu South constituency.
In this development work, the construction work of lane and drain along with the installation of iron grating on the drains will be done under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC). Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that after these development works, the general public will get the benefit of these facilities. He said that the construction of drains and lanes and other development works was an old demand of the people of the area, which has now been fulfilled.
He further said that after installing grating on the drains, polythene will not go into the drain, due to which the drain will remain clean and the road will also be wide which will make the movement of vehicles easy.
Billawaria said that in the last five and a half years, countless development works have been done in Gangyal area, as a result the people of Ward 56 Gangyal voted in large numbers for the BJP party in the Lok Sabha elections. He said that due to the model code of conduct, the development work had stopped for some time but now again the work has been started on war footing in the area. He said that the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) is committed to provide sustainable development to the people of Jammu and various development projects in the area are in the pipeline and will be completed in a time bound manner. He said that every worker of the BJP party is connected with the public and the works which need immediate attention are resolved on priority basis so that the problems of the general public can be solved. He said that the priority of the Modi Government is that the last person in the last queue should be benefited and we are making such efforts. Billawaria also said that all the Government schemes in the area will reach the public at their doorstep and he is working for this. The people of the area also assured full support to the BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections. The prominent people of the area expressed their gratitude to former Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria and they said that he is solving the problems related to cleanliness, electricity, water, till date whatever work we asked for has been done. Ranjeet Singh, Rakesh Sangral, Shamsher Kumar (Sherry), Rajinder Singh (Poppi), Surendra Singh, Darshan Kumar, Pinka Sharma, Punjab Singh, Bachan Lal were also present.
