JAMMU, Dec 18: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria today started the work of laying 16 inch diameter drinking water main pipe in Ward No. 56 Gangyal. About Rs 58 lakh will be spent on this work and this work will be done in a phased manner in Gangyal.
On this occasion, Billawaria said that in order to supply better water to the people of Gangyal, the water supply of each area is being separated so that water is supplied to the people in adequate quantity and with full pressure. He said that the old water pipes in the area had become quite deteriorated, while the tar on the roads was also falling off due to the problem of leakage from these pipes and to end this problem, we have undertaken construction work at a cost of Rs 58 lakh.
This project has been made and is being implemented on the ground. He said that we are making every effort to provide better facilities to the people at their doorstep, while the BJP Central Government and the LG administration in the UT are also focusing fully on the implementation of the schemes so that the benefits of the schemes reach every person.
Ranjit Singh, Rajinder Singh, Jyoti Prakash, Rakesh Sangraal, Jugal Kishore, Pritam Sharma, Dr. Govind, Suresh Mishra, Dr. Kuldeep Gupta, Satish Mehra and Kasturi Lal were present on this occasion.
