JAMMU, Dec 5: Former deputy mayor of Jammu and senior BJP leader Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the construction work of laying of paver tiles and drains at Ward Number 56 (Gangyal) in RS Pura-Jammu South constituency. The work will be executed by the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that during his tenure as Deputy Mayor of Jammu, he had got these development works to fulfill the demands of the people and today the same development works are being started. “I am happy that I am getting the privilege to kick start the development works that I had planned”, he added.
Throwing light on the welfare schemes of the Central Government, Billawaria said that the BJP worked on the agenda of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas and this was the main reason that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP got a hat-trick in the election results of four States with huge majority.
He said that the main objective of the BJP is to get development work done equally in every field with full honesty, and therefore, women power, youth power, farmers and people from poor families have expressed confidence in the leadership of Narendra Modi. He also stated that BJP is the only party which has taken overall development as the primary task and Government schemes have reached out to every household.
Billawaria said that there are many works that are to be taken up in areas soon so that best possible infra is provided to the masses. He told the gathering that he is always ready for public welfare works.
Mandal president Ranjit Singh, Harbans Choudhary, Jugal Kishore, Surjit Kumar, Rakesh Sangral, Sunil Sharma, Mulkh Raj, Om Nath, Rajinder Singh (Poppy), Punjab Singh, Vinod Sharma, Hardeep Singh and many others were present on the occasion.
