JAMMU, Mar 9: Former Deputy Mayor Jammu and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria started the work of paver tiles and deep drain (nallah) of Belicharana in Bahu constituency today. This development work will be executed by the Public Works Department (PWD) at a cost of approximately Rs 35 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that after the completion of the development work, people will get a lot of relief. He said that the development work is of paramount importance to the people of the area and also the commuters who use the Belicharana road. He said that he was conscious of the difficulties faced by the people of the area due to water logging and inundation during the rainy season.
Billawaria said that once the drain gets blocked during the rains it causes multitude of problems and with the inauguration of construction work the long standing problem will get resolved. He said that the general public was exploited by the Congress in the name of development while no development was done on ground. He also expressed his gratitude to the people of the area who displayed great patience while facing the problem of water logging.
He stated that the BJP is the only party that is committed to solve the problems of the people and as a BJP worker he is bound to solve every problem of the people. He said that the BJP works on the basic principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas”.
Billawaria further said that after the completion of development work is over we can focus upon further improvement in the area. Praising the efforts of Poonchi Basti president, Rakesh Sharma (Raju) for development related work Billawaria said that he is concerned about the problems of the people of Belicharana.
