Billawaria kick starts work of protection wall in Community Hall

Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria kick starting construction of wall in Guru Ravidas Community Hall at Gangyal on Monday.

JAMMU, Apr 10: Deputy Mayor, Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria today kick started the work of the protection wall including other allied development works of Shri Guru Ravidas Community Hall at Ward No 56, Gangyal in RS Pura-Jammu South constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Mayor said that there was long pending demand of the public to construct the protection wall along the side of the Community Hall of Shri Guru Ravidass and through the park to save the low lying areas from the flood and further damages. He said that the construction of the protection wall is of utmost importance to prevent the flood water from entering in the low lying areas.
He further said that the construction of the wall will not only save the people from the floods but will also help in controlling the soil erosion.
He assured the public that all the necessary funds will be allocated to complete the construction of the other allied development works of the Community Hall.
Deputy Mayor said that the JMC is committed to serve the interests of all sections of the society and this is the one more step towards the service to the community. He said that the wall will not only provide protection to the Community Hall but will also provide a sense of security and belonging to the community.
The Deputy Mayor further said that the JMC is taking all the necessary steps to ensure that the amenities of the citizens are not compromised. He said that the JMC is committed to provide the best possible services to the citizens and this project is a step forward in that direction.
He said that the JMC is committed to develop all the areas of the City of Temples. He said that Corporation follows the footsteps of Prime Minister, Narendra Bhai Modi and is carrying the policy of Sab Ka Sath, Sab ka Vikas, Sab ka Vishwas, Aur Sab Ka Prayas. Billawaria also said that under the stewardship of PM, Narendra Bhai Modi Indian prestige at international arena has considerably enhanced and people view India as the most developing country.
Shri Guru Ravidas Committee members complimented Billawaria for taking up this work on priority. Prominent among those present on the occasion were Harbans Choudhary, Ashok Thappa, Babu Ram, Buta Ram, Madan Lal Bhagat, Surjeet Kumar and others.
