JAMMU, Aug 1: Former Deputy Mayor Jammu and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria released a devotional songs album titled ‘Maiya Di Deewani’ here, today.
The programme was organised by BJP State co-convener, Sanskriti Art Culture Cell, Sahil Mahajan and the song was released under the banner of YouTube Channel, Parul Kashyap. The song ‘Maiya Di Deewani’ was sung by Parul Kashyap; Lyrics and Director, Lucky Verma, Music by Rhythm Bar and the Video Director is Prikshit Dogra.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that the main purpose of the song was to motivate and encourage the devotees to adore Goddess Chandi Mata. He praised the artists for devoting their services to the divinity of Chandi Mata in a melodious composition and hailed the efforts of organisers. He said that in J&K, the devotional songs of Gods and Goddesses are played everywhere during every religious ritual or function whether it is Jagrata, Langar, Seva, Pooja or other religious rituals. Billawaria hoped that young singers should reach out to the people through songs about the traditional values and centuries-old heritage of Jammu city. He also said that the people of J&K should also support and encourage the local artists so that they can also grow and reach new heights. Billawaria further added that the youth of J&K should also participate more in the religious activities and rituals as it will guide them towards an enlightened future and prevent them from going on the wrong track in life and doing illegal activities like drugs and ruining their own lives.
Billawaria wished all success for Singer Parul Kashyap and other young artists for their devotional album song and assured support to promote upcoming artists of J&K. Sahil Mahajan congratulated the whole team for bringing out their talent to the public and inspiring the youth to come forward. He further said that the State BJP Sanskriti Art Culture Cell is always there to support every artist of J&K and if they need any help they can approach the party for assistance.
The event ended with the felicitation ceremony in which awards were given to the eminent dignitaries present on the occasion.
