Billawaria releases devotional song ‘Bawe Wali Maa’

JAMMU, Nov 5: Former Deputy Mayor Jammu and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria here, today released a devotional song titled ‘Bawe Wali Maa’.
Baldev Singh Billawaria was the chief guest on the occaison, ex-Corporator, Gourav Chopra and MD Unique Sanitation and Out Sourcing Service, Rajat Sharma was the guest of honour and the programme was organised by BJP State co-convenor, Sanskriti Art Culture Cell, Sahil Mahajan. The song ‘Bawe Wali Maa’ was sung and its lyrics written by renowned singer Meshu Brar (Pathankot Wale, Video director was Baba Kamal, music was given by Jatinder Jeetu and the song was released under the banner of YouTube Channel Meshu Brar.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that the main purpose of the song was to motivate and encourage the devotees to adore Goddess Mata Bawe Wali. He said that in J&K, the devotional songs of Gods and Goddesses are played everywhere during every religious ritual or function whether it is Jagrata, Langar, Seva, Pooja or other religious rituals. He praised the singer Meshu Brar (Pathankot Wale) for devoting their services to the divinity of Mata Bawe Wali in a melodious composition and hailed the efforts of organisers.
He also said that it is a good sign that now Punjabi singers are also coming to Jammu for shooting and singing. The youth of Jammu will also get a chance to learn from them. Billawaria hoped this would go a long way to promote local talent and said that youth should be educated about our traditional values which are the foundations of our age old heritage. He also said that the people of J&K should also support and encourage the artists so that they can grow and reach new heights.
Corporator Gourav Chopra congratulated the whole team of Punjabi artists for bringing out their talent to the public and inspiring the youth to come forward.
Rajat Sharma wished all success for singer Meshu Brar (Pathankot Wale) and other artists for their devotional album song and assured support to artists.
Sahil Mahajan said that the State BJP Sanskriti Art Culture Cell is always there to support every artist and if they need any help they can approach the party for assistance. The event ended with the felicitation ceremony in which awards were given to the eminent dignitaries present on the occasion.
