JAMMU, Aug 12: Former Deputy Mayor Jammu and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria today visited at Ward no 45 in Digiana and listened to the grievances of locals in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria assured the people that every effort will be made to complete the pending development works in the ward.
He said that an amount of about 83 lakhs has been sanctioned especially for this ward and the development work will be started soon.
Billawaria said that in these development works, the construction work of the lane and drain along with the installation of iron grating on the drains will be done in the Digiana area.
“Earlier in the name of development only drums and name plates were seen on the walls but the development has been started by the Modi Government from the ground level. Among others who accompanied the BJP leader included Mandal President Ranjit Singh, Satpal Choudhary, Ajay Pratap Singh, Vijay Dogra, Vinod Kumar, Naresh Chopra, Shakuntala Devi, Bachan Lal, Kashmira Singh and Om Nath.
