BISHNAH, Mar 4: Chairing a public meeting of National Conference women workers at Karyal Pindh, here today, MLA Bimla Luthra distributed 200 cheques of old age pension and widow pension under the scheme of widow pension of Social Welfare Department.
Speaking on the occasion, she awared the people of various schemes launched by the State Government for the upliftment of poor and downtrodden sections. In response to the demands of locals for more tailoring centre, blacktopping of roads, etc, Bimla assured them to get redressed their demands soon.
She informed the gathering about the various schemes, projects and programmes launched by the Government for the welfare of women folk like Women Development Corporation, Widow Pension, Anmol Beti programme and many others.
She assured the women folk that she will remain active to help them.
