UDHAMPUR, June 20: State vice president NC Women Wing and former MLA, Bimla Luthra has said that progress made during NC rule in J&K has gone down the drain as the works started by the Party including those for women empowerment have been brought to a halt due to politics of deceit played by BJP with the people.
Addressing workers meet at Udhampur, Luthra said that while women were already facing huge problems in running their kitchens due to sky rocketing prices of edibles of daily use, the Government continues to hike LPG prices unabated making women’s kitchen problems more complex.
The meeting was organized by Smithri Devi, District NC president Udhampur Women Wing.
Luthra said that there is no alternate for a duly elected representative Government in J&K.
She asked women of J&K to support NC in upcoming elections for equitable development of J&K.
Pinki Khalsa, District president Jammu Urban Women Wing; Sumita Mehra, Pooja Devi, Lajja Devi, Kalisho Devi and others were also present in the meeting.
