JAMMU, Oct 8: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir has ordered strict enforcement of Bio-metric attendance for all the Government employees, including the package employees.
According to a circular in this regard, all the HOD/DDOs have been impressed upon to ensure the attendance of all employees recruited in general, regular or through any package etc through Biometric attendance system, failing which necessary administrative action be taken.
Through the circular, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole has also directed that days of unauthorized absence be deducted from leave, whatever due to the employee.
Pertinent to mention that the General Administration Department, vide order number 650-JK(GAD) of 2022, dated 02-06-2022, had already ordered that all the Government offices/PSUs/Institutions/Corporations across the UT of J&K would switch over to the Biometric System of marking attendance with immediate effect.
