It is done after a long wait of over one year, the much longed for the biotech park will see work on it to start shortly, if there is no other hurdle like the last from the Pollution Control Board. To be developed on nearly 80 kanals of land, this park shall have the unique distinction to be first of its kind in the entire Northern India.
Due to the intervention from the Union Government, especially because of keen interest shown by MoS in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh, decks were cleared otherwise it would have taken much more time. It was going to develop the area, increase the income of the people in the rural belt. The State is otherwise blessed with medicinal plants and trees and by growing these and others here, people will benefit, the economy shall get a boost and it can also pave the way for establishment of small scale Industrial units to manufacture medicines and thus provide employment as well.
While credit must go to Modi Government for this, we expect that speedily work shall be started on it so that delays could be avoided.
