JAMMU, Mar1: J&K Freedom Fighter Association held a function on the birth anniversary of Shaheed-i-Azam, Chander Shekhar Azad at DBN School, Mubarak Mandi, Jammu.
On the occasion, Ved Gandotra, president, J&K Freedom Fighter Association presided over while Kiran Wattal, Commissioner, Muncipal Corporation, Jammu was chief guest and Kapil Sharma, Joint Commissioner was guest of honour.
Two minutes silence was observed as a mark of tribute to all the martyrs, who fought the British empire and sacrified every thing for the sake of freedom struggle and secured Azadi for the present days citizens of India. Floral tributes were paid to Shaheed Chander Shakhar Azad. Sweets were distributed among the children.
Other present on the occasion were Raj Gopal Sharma, Subash Bakshi, Gurcharan Singh, Vaishali, Gajan Singh, Sukhminder Singh Maini, Rajinder Kakkar and others.
